Major cryptocurrency prices, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, have fallen to their lowest levels in months. On February 27 (local time), Bitcoin dropped below the $84,000 mark, reaching its lowest price since November of last year. This downward trend is attributed to multiple factors, including inflation concerns, the possibility of President Trump expanding tariff policies, and a decrease in meme coin trading enthusiasm. In particular, last week's $1.4 billion hacking incident at the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has further intensified market anxiety. As a result, over $600 million in futures positions were liquidated in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin-related liquidations were the largest at $335 million, followed by Ethereum at $115 million. Experts assess that this correction is part of the typical volatility in the cryptocurrency market. However, they predict that Bitcoin's 200-day moving average of $81,700 will be an important support level going forward.
