Server manufacturer Super Micro Computer submitted delayed financial statements just in time to meet the Nasdaq listing deadline. As a result, the company's stock surged 22% in after-hours trading. Super Micro filed audited financial statements for fiscal year 2024 and the first two quarters of fiscal year 2025 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company stated that it received confirmation from Nasdaq that it has regained compliance with filing requirements. The company's new auditor, BDO, assessed that the financial statements comply with U.S. accounting principles. Super Micro acknowledged weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting and stated it is taking measures to improve them. For fiscal year 2024, Super Micro's revenue more than doubled to $14.99 billion compared to the previous year. This is attributed to the surge in demand for Nvidia GPUs. Meanwhile, the company warned that risks such as litigation and reputational damage due to the delay in financial reporting still exist. Nevertheless, Super Micro's stock has shown strength, rising 52% so far this year.
