Amazon will invest approximately $13 billion over five years, from 2025 to 2029, to expand, operate, and maintain its data center infrastructure in Australia. This investment marks Amazon’s largest global technology commitment in Australia and will focus on expanding new server capacity and supporting generative artificial intelligence (AI) workloads. Through this investment, Amazon also aims to help strengthen Australia’s AI capabilities.
