Apple is reportedly set to significantly improve video recording capabilities in the iPhone 17 Pro models scheduled for release this year. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman recently shared this information through his newsletter. According to Gurman, Apple plans to focus more on enhancing video recording features rather than photo-taking abilities in this iPhone. This strategy appears aimed at encouraging vloggers and video creators to use iPhones more frequently instead of standalone cameras. The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature a redesigned rear camera system. According to leaked rendering images, the device is likely to have a large rectangular camera bar with rounded corners on the back, and is projected to include three 48-megapixel rear cameras. Meanwhile, Gurman also reconfirmed information that Apple plans to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. The iPhone 17 series is anticipated to be unveiled around September of this year, about seven months from now.
