OpenAI announced on Monday that it has established its first office in Seoul and registered a local entity in South Korea in response to the growing demand for its ChatGPT service in the country. According to OpenAI, South Korea has the second-highest number of paying ChatGPT subscribers after the United States. The company also said it has begun hiring staff to support local partnerships and plans to share more details in the coming months.
