Swedish electric and autonomous freight startup Einride has secured $100 million from new and existing investors. The round included participation from EQT Ventures, with quantum computing company IonQ joining as a strategic investor. The company’s post-money valuation was not disclosed. Einride currently operates across three core businesses: electric heavy-duty trucks, autonomous pod-like trucks that run fixed routes, and logistics planning software for shippers. CEO Roozbeh Charli said the funding will help expand the customer base and accelerate the commercialization of its autonomous freight technology.
