App Annie's State of Mobile report predicts 230 billion apps downloaded in 2021. $170bn (£125bn) was spent on apps, with TikTok the most downloaded. Average time spent on mobile apps is up 30% to four hours and 48 minutes. YouTube was the most popular video streaming app worldwide, clocking up more than a million downloads.
