Huawei is set to officially unveil the Pura 80 series on June 11. The launch is drawing attention in China, as it closely coincides with Apple’s WWDC 2025. Ahead of the announcement, key display and camera specifications of the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ models have been leaked. The Pro model is expected to feature a centrally placed single punch-hole selfie camera, suggesting that Huawei has once again omitted the 3D facial recognition feature previously offered in earlier models. The display is likely to adopt a quad-curved design rather than a flat panel, and the metallic frame also appears to be curved, enhancing the overall design quality. Camera performance is expected to see a significant upgrade. According to renowned tech leaker Digital Chat Station, the Pura 80 Pro+ and possibly some Pro models will be equipped with a 1-inch 50MP main sensor, paired with a variable aperture lens with a 24mm focal length. The rear camera setup will also include a periscope zoom lens with an 89mm focal length and an improved 3.7x optical zoom, up from 3.5x in the previous generation. Meanwhile, it has yet to be confirmed whether the new tandem OLED display, reportedly exclusive to the Ultra model, will also be featured on the Pro+ model.

Pro 모델은 전면 중앙에 싱글 펀치홀 셀피 카메라를 탑재해, 기존 시리즈에서 제공되던 3D 안면 인식 기능이 이번에도 제외될 가능성이 높아졌다. 디스플레이는 평면형이 아닌 네 방향 곡면 설계가 적용될 것으로 보이며, 금속 프레임 역시 곡선 형태로 마감돼 디자인 완성도를 높였다. 카메라 성능도 대폭 향상된다. 유명 IT 유출가 디지털챗스테이션에 따르면, Pura 80 Pro+와 일부 Pro 모델은 1인치 크기의 5천만 화소 메인 센서를 탑재하고, 24mm 초점거리의 가변 조리개 시스템을 적용할 예정이다. 후면에는 잠망경 줌 렌즈도 탑재되며, 초점거리는 89mm, 광학 줌은 전작(3.5배)보다 향상된 3.7배로 예상된다. 한편, Pro+ 모델에만 적용될 것으로 보이는 탠덤 OLED 디스플레이의 도입 여부는 아직 확인되지 않았다.
