Microsoft will raise Xbox console prices in the U.S. starting in October, citing changes in the macroeconomic environment. This marks the second price hike of the year, following similar moves by rivals Sony and Nintendo amid the Trump administration’s tariffs. However, Microsoft said it will keep prices for accessories such as controllers and headsets unchanged, and prices in overseas markets will also remain the same. The Xbox Series S will rise from $379 to $399, with the 1TB model priced at $449. The Xbox Series X Digital Edition will increase by $50 to $599, and the version with a disc drive will also rise to $649. The most expensive 2TB model will jump from $729 to $799.
