Microsoft has announced that it has hired key personnel from artificial intelligence startup Inflection AI as part of an internal reorganization of its artificial intelligence (AI) division. This includes Mustafa Suleyman, CEO and co-founder of Inflection AI, which Microsoft and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates helped raise $1.3 billion in funding last year. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced on Tuesday that "Suleyman has been appointed CEO and senior vice president of the newly formed Microsoft AI organization." Nadella cited Suleyman's appointment as "focused on advancing COPILOT and other consumer AI products and research."

마이크로소프트는 인공지능(AI) 부문의 내부 조직 개편의 일환으로 인공지능 스타트업 인플렉션 AI(Inflection AI)의 주요 인력들을 영입했다고 밝혔다. 이 중에는 지난 해 13억 달러의 투자 유치 과정에 마이크로소프트와 마이크로소프트 공동 설립자인 빌 게이츠가 참여했던 인플렉션 AI의 CEO이자 공동 설립자인 무스타파 술레이만(Mustafa Suleyman)도 포함된다. 마이크로소프트 CEO 사티야 나델라(Satya Nadella)는 지난 화요일, "술레이만이 새로 설립된 마이크로소프트 AI 조직의 CEO 겸 수석 부사장으로 임명되었다"고 발표했다. 나델라는 술레이만의 임명 이유를 “코파일럿과 다른 소비자 인공지능 제품 및 연구를 발전시키는 데 중점을 둔다”고 밝혔다.
