Tesla has announced a recall of over 46,000 Cybertrucks in the United States due to the risk of exterior panels detaching. This recall affects almost all Cybertrucks produced since November 2023 and marks the eighth and largest recall since the model's launch. The issue stems from the 'cant rail', a stainless steel exterior trim panel that could delaminate and become a road hazard while driving. Tesla estimates that this defect affects approximately 1% of the vehicles and plans to replace the affected parts free of charge.
