Polestar 3 is the company's first electric SUV, and it's set to go on sale in the US in 2023. It will start at $85,300 and will have 379 miles of range and 250kW fast charging support. The Polestars will be the first electric vehicle from Volvo's offshoot, which is based on the Volvo XC90.

Netflix has been criticized for not publicly publishing viewership metrics for all its shows, especially ones that may not be doing well. In other news, viewers will finally get to watch a Netflix movie in AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters.

Intel is planning to cut thousands of jobs, according to a report. The company is expected to announce the layoffs around the time it releases its third quarter earnings report on October 27th. The layoffs could reduce the costs Intel incurs by around 10 to 15 percent. Intel recently slashed its sales and profit forecasts for 2022.

Researchers have grown brain cells in a lab that can learn to play Pong. They say their "mini-brain" can sense and respond to its environment. It learned to play the 1970s tennis-like video game in five minutes. Experts say it could be a better model for the next generation of computers.

Microsoft announced two new offerings at its Ignite conference today. Defender for Dev Ops and Defender for Cloud are aimed at managing security across multiple-pipeline environments. Defender CSPM uses AI algorithms to perform contextual risk analyses of software dev environments. The two offerings are available in public preview and work with GitHub and Azure Dev Ops.

Hyundai is planning to transform its lineup into " software-defined vehicles" The automaker wants to have 20 million connected vehicles on the road by 2025. It's developing new platforms and a new Connected Car Operating System. It wants all its vehicles to be over-the-air (OTA) capable by 2025, including EV models.

구글, 트럼프 'Truth Social' 플레이 스토어 출시 허용

Truth Social was previously barred from Google's Play Store for content moderation concerns. The app was created by former President Donald Trump after he was banned from Twitter. Truth Social is now available to 44% of smartphone users in the U.S. who use an Android phone.

Toyota has warned that the personal information of roughly 300,000 customers may have been exposed. The possible exposure relates to T-Connect, an official Toyota app that allows customers to connect their smartphone to their vehicle's dashboard infotainment system. A subcontractor developing the site inadvertently uploaded part of the site’s source code to a public GitHub repository in December 2017. This source code contained an access key to a server that stored customer email addresses and customer management numbers.
