PG&E's Elkhorn Battery at Moss Landing, California, caught fire early Tuesday morning. No power outages for customers, and no injuries to on-site personnel. The iPhone 14 that went on sale last week is the most repairable iPhone since the iPhone 7, repair advocate iFixit said. Apple has redesigned the internal structure in the iPhone 14 to allow users to remove and replace both the device’s back glass and its screen by removing out only two screws. The high-end iPhone 14 Pro models don’t use the new, more repairable design, according to iFixit.
Apple will be releasing a software update to fix the camera shake / rattling issue affecting iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Apple told Bloomberg that the update will be available next week. This will resolve customer concerns that the violent camera shake problems may have been a result of a hardware defect with their new phones. Instead, users should be able to simply install the software update when it is available.
