Just six months after its last flagship launch, Xiaomi has announced another one. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra packs a massive one-inch, 50.3-megapixel Sony IMX989 main sensor. And unlike the Sony Xperia Pro-I, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra apparently uses the entirety of its one-inch sensor. And the camera unit itself? Well, it looks gigantic.
The Metaverse Standards Forum has been formed by Microsoft, Epic, Meta, and other companies to foster open, interoperable standards for augmented and virtual reality, geospatial, and 3D tech. Crypto lender Vauld on Monday paused all withdrawals, trading and deposits on its platform and is exploring potential restructuring options, the company said. Vauld said it is facing “financial challenges” due to “volatile market conditions” which has led to customers withdrawing more than $197.7 million from the platform since June 12. Vauld is the latest victim of the cryptocurrency price plunge this year that has exposed flaws in a number of digital coin projects and business models.
