The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved rule changes to allow the listing of cryptocurrency spot ETFs. With this decision, the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and Cboe Global Markets can now approve ETFs based on cryptocurrencies and other spot commodities through a standardized listing process. As a result, dozens of new spot ETFs tied to digital assets such as Solana and Dogecoin are set to launch. The move is seen as the latest policy initiative by the Trump administration to accelerate the integration of crypto assets into mainstream finance.
