구글, 작년 143만개 앱 정책위반 차단

Google said last year that its improved security features and policies prevented 1.43 million policy-violating apps from being published on Google Play. It also said it continued to monitor malicious developers and fraudulent organizations, blocking 173,000 bad accounts and preventing more than $2 billion in fraudulent transactions.

구글의 모회사 알파벳이 25일(현지시간) 올해 1분기 매출이 전년동기대비 2.6% 증가한 697억 9,000만달러(약 93조 5000억 원), 주당 순이익은 1.17달러를 기록했다. 각각 시장 예상치인 680억 9000만 달러와 1.07달러를 웃돌았는데 영업이익은 174억 달러로 지난해 같은 기간에 비해 13% 감소했다.

A foldable phone that appears to be a working model of Google's Pixel Fold smartphone has emerged in a social media video. Developer Kuba Wojciechowski posted a video of what he believes to be a Google Pixel Fold on Twitter on Nov. 22. The device in the video measures 7.6 inches and has an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The top and bottom bezels appear to be quite wide, and the top of the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera.

According to the report, while concerns about the threat of hackers have never been higher. There have also been some significant recent advances in cyber defense. 17일(현지시간) 미국 주식 시장은 기업 실적 발표를 앞두고 큰 변동 폭 없이 보합세를 이어갔다. 다만 구글은 약 3%의 급락세를 보였다. 삼성전자가 스마트폰에 탑재하는 검색엔진의 종류를 구글에서 마이크로소프트의 '빙(Bing)'으로 교체할 수 있다는 소식이 나왔기 때문이다. 13년간의 동맹이다. 삼성전자는 2010년부터 갤럭시를 비롯한 스마트폰의 기본 검색엔진으로 구글을 사용하고 있다. 연간 약 30억 달러(약 3조 9000억 원)의 사용료를 내는 것으로 알려졌는데 구글 입장에서는 그야말로 패닉이다.
