지난 15일 발생한 SK C&C 판교 데이터센터 화재로 인한 카카오 서비스 장애가 예상을 뛰어넘는 혼란으로 이어지고 있다. 카카오는 이른바 공동체라고 하는 계열사 서버와 데이터를 한 곳에 몰아넣었다. 그간 지속적으로 계열사를 늘리며 문어발식 확장, 골목상권 침해, 무리한 수익화 방식 등으로 비판을 받아왔던 카카오의 고질적인 문제가 다시금 드러난 셈이다.
