Microsoft said a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack by a group of hackers was responsible for an outage earlier this month that affected its 365 Office suite and cloud services, including Outlook email and the OneDrive app. The company identified a traffic spike that temporarily affected some services and was attributed to activity by a threat actor it tracks as "Storm-1359," U.S. tech publication Engadget reported on Monday.
