솔라나가 '사가(Saga)'라는 이름의 웹3 기반 스마트폰을 출시한다. 6.67인치 안드로이드폰에 솔라나 블록체인과 디앱 지원, 지갑 통합, 디앱 스토어가 내장된 것이 특징이다. 솔라나랩스은 사가 폰 지원과 디앱 개발 촉진을 위해 약 13억달러 규모의 펀드, 그리고 모바일(Solana Mobile)이라는 자회사를 설립했다.

From afar, the device appears to be a blend of the iPhone X's back (with its pill-shaped dual-camera island) and the iPhone 12's flat edges. 지금까지 세상에 없던 폼팩터, 폴더블폰은 여러가지 장점을 가진다. 접으면 (비교적) 컴팩트하고 펼치면 소형 태블릿 못지 않다. 1대의 기기로 2대의 기기의 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 폴더블폰 사용자라면 늘 가지는 하나의 의문점이 있다. "과연 이 최첨단 기계가 스마트폰과 태블릿을 모두 대체할만큼 값어치를 가지고 있는가?"라는 문제다.
