Google's Numbers to Names website uses facial recognition to identify people in historic photos. It has been cross-referencing millions of faces to try to find matches for people in one photo - but not in others. It found Blanche Fixler in a wartime photo which she had never seen before. She recognised herself in the photo and identified her Aunt Rose and one of the boys.
