If Apple were to release a cheaper Vision Pro headset, it would likely be a version with fewer external cameras, no EyeSight capabilities, and an iPhone chip instead of the current Mac chip. Based on the closing price over the past three days, that's worth $565 million. Of that, Cook reported selling 511,000 shares recently, cashing in $87.7 million. After taxes, that's $41.5 million. The sale comes after Cook announced in January that he would take a 40% pay cut from last year's salary due to the economic downturn and poor performance this year. Meanwhile, Cook is set to earn $49 million this year. Last year, Cook earned a total of $99.4 million in compensation, including base salary ($3 million) and equity awards and bonuses ($83 million).
