신임 총리로 당선된 리즈 트러스는 친암호화폐 정치인으로 분류된다. 2018년 재무부 차관 재직 당시 암호화폐 도입을 긍정하는 소신 발언을 하기도 했다. 디지털 경제 산업에 대해 각종 규제 철폐와 진흥 등 온건한 친암호화폐 정책을 펼칠 것이라는 기대가 나온다.

Liz Truss will be the next prime minister of the United Kingdom. Truss defeated Rishi Sunak to become the new leader of the Conservative Party. She will replace Boris Johnson, who has served as the prime minister since 2019. She is expected to be formally appointed as prime minister on Tuesday.
