중국 기술업체 샤오미의 휴머노이드 로봇 사이버원이 공개되자마자 혹평이 쏟아지고 있다. 테슬라의 휴머노이드 로봇 옵티머스와 놀랍게도 비슷한 외관뿐만 아니라, 로봇의 기능 자체에도 비판이 나왔다. 이에 따라 테슬라가 다음달 공개할 예정인 옵티머스에 더욱 관심이 집중될 전망이다.

In “Do As I Can, Not As I Say: Grounding Language in Robotic Affordances”, we present a novel approach, developed in partnership with Everyday Robots, that leverages advanced language model knowledge to enable a physical agent, such as a robot, to follow high-level textual instructions for physically-grounded tasks, while grounding the language model in tasks that are feasible within a specific real-world context. We evaluate our method, which we call PaLM-SayCan, by placing robots in a real kitchen setting and giving them tasks expressed in natural language.

TikTok has rolled out a new in-app text-to-image AI generator. The effect is called ‘AI greenscreen’ and can be accessed via the short-form video app’s camera screen. It lets users type in a prompt and receive an image that can be used as the background in their videos.

셀바스 AI의 수학식 필기인식 솔루션이 웅진씽크빅의 AI 기반 연산 앱 ‘매쓰피드’에 적용됐다. 매쓰피드에 적용된 셀바스 AI의 셀비 펜(Selvy Pen)은 문제의 정답을 손글씨로 입력하면 자동으로 디지털 텍스트로 전환되며 전환된 디지털 텍스트는 수식의 정답 여부를 확인할 수 있어 자동으로 채점하는 기능을 제공한다.

Microsoft launches Project AirSim, a flight simulator for drones. It will be used to train the artificial intelligence systems of autonomous aircraft. The Wikimedia Foundation and Facebook parent company Meta have developed an AI model to check citations. The tool can automatically scan citations at scale to verify their accuracy. It can also suggest alternative citations when it finds a poorly sourced passage. Meta hopes to build a platform Wikipedia editors can use to verify and correct footnotes systematically.
