독일, 소프트웨어 결함에 테슬라 차량 6만대 리콜

Germany's traffic regulator is calling on Tesla to recall more than 59,000 vehicles over a software issue. The problem affects Model Y and 3 crossovers manufactured at the automaker's recently opened Berlin Gigafactory. The glitch prevents the eCall safety system from automatically calling first responders in the event of a serious accident.

Tesla just reported second-quarter vehicle production and delivery numbers for 2022. A year ago, Elon Musk’s electric car business delivered 201,250 vehicles in the second quarter. Tesla was hamstrung during the period ending June 30, 2022, by parts shortages, supply chain snarls and Covid restrictions that forced China’s Shanghai factory to close or operate only partially for weeks.

현대차는 전기차 전용 브랜드 아이오닉의 두 번째 모델인 아이오닉 6의 내∙외장 디자인을 정식으로 공개했다. 전기차 전용 플랫폼인 E-GMP가 적용된 모델로서 긴 휠 베이스를 바탕으로 독특하고 아름다운 비율과 함께 넉넉한 공간성을 갖춰낸 것이 특징이다.

폭스바겐이 중형 세단 전기차 아이디.에어로(ID.Aero)를 공개했다. 최대주행거리 385마일(약 620km)를 자랑하는 장거리 주행용 전기차다. 2023년 중국 시장에서 먼저 선보인 후 유럽과 미국 시장에 출시할 계획이다.

Rivian is opening three new charging stations in California and Colorado. The first station is in Salida, Colorado, with four chargers capable of 200 kW of power. Rivian's "Adventure Network" will add fast charging capabilities to cross-country routes. It will also be available near national parks and other out-of-the way locations.

Toyota issued a recall on 2,700 bZ4X electric cars, roughly all the ones produced to date (though most undelivered), over the potential of wheels falling off. The bZ4X is Toyota’s first global electric car. Toyota launched the electric SUV in the US earlier this year at a starting price of $42,000. It is a very important vehicle for the Japanese automaker since it is going to open the doors to the global EV market for the first time for the Toyota brand.

The idea is to use its AI-driven software to make Brightdrop’s systems better at analyzing, forecasting, and identifying multi-modal solutions for fleet customers as they plan their journey to full-fleet electrification.
