Japanese technology giant Sony suffered a setback when it revised its full-year sales forecast for its flagship PlayStation 5 (PS5) console, sending its stock price down by about $10 billion. Analysts, who already thought Sony had set its PS5 sales targets too high, told CNBC that a far more important issue was the declining profitability of its core gaming business.
