Investors are so confident in Nvidia's AI technology that they are increasing their investments in the companies it has backed. Nvidia disclosed in a securities regulatory filing on Wednesday that it holds stakes in several publicly traded companies, including ARM, SoundHound AI, Recursion Pharmaceuticals, Nano-X Imaging, and TuSimple.

최성집 퀀텀에이아이 대표는 10여년 이상 한국 IBM 금융산업 섹터에서 근무하며 당시 초고성능 인공지능 컴퓨터 시스템 ‘왓슨(Watson)’을 국내 금융권에 확산 시키는 역할을 했다. 결과적으로 그러한 커리어는 최 대표를 데이터 기반 통계 분석 전문가에서 머신러닝(ML)을 거쳐 AI 컨설팅까지 섭렵한 전문가로 만들었다. 이후 삼정 KPMG에서 AI 리드 파트너로 금융권 AI 도입을 주도하기도 했던 그는 그 모든 경험을 바탕으로 퀀텀에이아이를 창업했다.

2024년 1월 4일, 영화 ‘AI 수로부인’이 국내 생성 AI 영화 중 처음으로 저작권을 인정받았다는 기사가 보도되었다. ‘AI 수로부인’은 ‘나라AI 필름’이 제작한 영화로, 생성형 AI가 영화의 모든 요소를 생성한다는 컨셉을 가지고 제작되었다. 챗GPT와 바드(Bard)로 스토리를 완성하고, 미드저니(Midjourney)와 DALL-E 3를 통해 스토리에 기반한 이미지를, 그 외 여러 종류의 생성형 AI 서비스를 이용해 배경과 인물 영상, 말소리 더빙까지 제작했다.
