Australian data center operator Macquarie Data Centres said it has received approval to build a new artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled data center in Sydney's northern region. The data center, 'IC3 Super West', will be able to handle a total of 63 megawatts (MW) of IT load and is expected to meet the power and cooling demands of the increasingly dense workloads of cloud and artificial intelligence technologies.
