From fraud detection to crop monitoring, new tech startups are emerging armed with the confidence that AI can solve the problems facing modern society. But as the AI landscape matures, a growing concern is emerging. The models at the core of many AI companies are rapidly becoming commoditized. The noticeable lack of real differentiation between these models is starting to raise questions about the sustainability of their competitive advantage. They are asking questions about the next technology in the same business model.
