On Thursday, Apple’s market cap reached approximately $3.29 trillion, surpassing Microsoft’s $3.28 trillion. Apple shares rose 0.6% on Thursday and have increased 8.8% so far this week. In contrast, Microsoft shares rose only 0.1% on Thursday. The iPhone maker’s rebound came just a week after Nvidia surpassed Apple on June 5 to become the second-largest public company in the U.S. Nvidia now ranks third, behind Microsoft.
