Following a recent court ruling that prevents Apple from charging a 27% commission on in-app purchases on iPhone, Amazon has added a new "Get Book" button to its Kindle iOS app. Now, users can purchase books directly through their mobile web browser by using this button. Previously, it was not possible to purchase books or even check their prices within the Kindle or Amazon app, but this change makes the purchasing process much easier. Amazon explained that this update is part of their effort to provide a more convenient experience for customers. Meanwhile, Spotify also began allowing users to access pricing information and external payment links last Friday. Apple has announced its intention to appeal the ruling and has strongly opposed the decision.
