Cloud company CoreWeave has become the first in the world to commercially deploy Nvidia’s next-generation AI chip, the Blackwell Ultra. This deployment is seen as the result of CoreWeave’s close partnership with Nvidia and its aggressive investment strategy. CoreWeave introduced equipment based on Nvidia’s GB300 NVL72 AI system, manufactured by Dell, and began operating a liquid-cooled system assembled and tested in the United States, featuring 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 Nvidia Grace CPUs. The Blackwell Ultra delivers performance capable of generating more than 50 times the AI content compared to the previous generation. Since going public on Nasdaq earlier this year, CoreWeave’s stock price has surged more than fourfold, with Nvidia as a major shareholder. Following this announcement, CoreWeave shares rose by 6%.
