Google’s AI learning tool, NotebookLM, is now officially available to users aged 13 and older. It follows minimum age restrictions by country, and Google Workspace for Education subscribers can use it regardless of age. NotebookLM quickly analyzes uploaded documents, PDFs, websites, Google Docs, and Slides, delivering results in a digital notebook format. Users can ask questions, receive summaries, create mind maps, and get explanations in video and audio formats. The outputs clearly cite sources, making it easy to verify accuracy. Google has stated that user data is not used for AI training and that there is no human review. Recently, a demo notebook feature was added, allowing users to try the tool without uploading any content.
