Microsoft is making significant changes to its account login policy starting this February. Under the new policy, users will remain automatically logged into their Microsoft accounts unless they explicitly log out or use private browsing. This change requires caution from public PC users. Users must ensure they log out at the end of their session or use a private browsing window. Otherwise, their account may remain logged in, potentially exposing them to security risks.
Microsoft plans to provide a forced logout feature for all devices except Xbox consoles, in case users forget to log out.

마이크로소프트가 오는 2월부터 계정 로그인 정책을 대폭 변경한다. 새 정책에 따르면 사용자가 직접 로그아웃하거나 비공개 브라우징을 사용하지 않는 한 마이크로소프트 계정에 자동으로 로그인 상태가 유지된다. 이번 변경으로 공용 PC 사용자들의 주의가 요구된다. 사용자들은 세션 종료 시 반드시 로그아웃하거나 비공개 브라우징 창을 사용해야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 계정이 계속 로그인 상태로 남아 보안 위험에 노출될 수 있다. 마이크로소프트는 실수로 로그아웃을 잊은 경우를 대비해 Xbox 콘솔을 제외한 모든 기기에서 강제 로그아웃 기능을 제공할 예정이다.
