Apple has released the iOS 18.5 update. With this update, the iPhone 13 series can now access satellite messaging features provided by carriers. T-Mobile users can take advantage of the Starlink-based satellite messaging service, which is available for free trial until July. However, this update only supports carrier-provided satellite features and does not include Apple’s own satellite features, such as Emergency SOS, which are available on iPhone 14 and newer models. iOS 18.5 also includes a new Pride-themed wallpaper and a feature that notifies parents when their child uses the Screen Time passcode on their device. Additionally, the update fixes the black screen issue in the Apple Vision Pro app and adds the “Buy with iPhone” feature when purchasing content on third-party devices through the Apple TV app.
