과학기술정보통신부와 한국지능정보사회진흥원은 고품질의 인공지능 학습용 데이터 구축 전문인력 양성을 위한 교육과정을 오는 20일부터 운영한다고 13일 밝혔다. 과기정통부와 NIA는 기업들이 인공지능 도입에 있어 가장 큰 애로사항으로 꼽은 양질의 데이터 부족 문제를 해결하기 위해 ’25년까지 약 2.5조 원을 투입해 1,300여 종의 데이터를 확보하는'인공지능 학습용 데이터 구축 사업'을 연간 3~4만 명 규모의 크라우드소싱 방식으로 추진 중이다.

Google engineer Blake Lemoine claims one of its AI projects has achieved sentience. He was placed on paid administrative leave over breaching Google's confidentiality agreement. Google flatly denies Lemoine's argument, saying there is no evidence LaMDA is sentient. Lemoine admits his claims are based on his experience as a priest and not a scientist.

In the latest development, Shield AI -- which makes software and hardware for drones and other autonomous aircraft used by military and other government organizations -- has raised $165 million in funding, $90 million in Series E equity and $75 million in debt. The funding is coming in at a $2.3 billion valuation, Shield AI said. The company has been on a strong pace on that front: it follows on from a $210-$300 million Series D about ten months ago that valued the company at $1.25 billion. (It never confirmed the final amount, which was also a mix of equity and debt.)

헬로에이아이시스템즈는 공공공사 입찰에 AI 및 빅데이터를 접목할 솔루션 ‘고비드(GoBID)’를 통해 높은 낙착율을 증명하며 업계의 입소문을 타고 있다. 무려 9년의 개발기간을 투입해 완성한 AI입찰분석 솔루션 고비드는 나라장터에서 제공하는 대량의 입찰 데이터를 수집·가공 후 300여대의 구글 클라우드 서버를 통해 AI 학습을 진행하고, 이 결과를 토대로 건설사에 낙찰 확률이 높은 투찰 가격을 제안한다.
