지난 NEMO 2023에서 키노트 이후 세션은 ‘LIFE’ ‘TECH’ ‘FUTURE’로 나뉘어 진행이 됐다. 그중 ‘TECH’ 세션에서는 카카모오빌리티에서 택시 서비스를 기획하고 있는 나윤서 매니저, 모빌리티 체계 기술을 담당하는 서정훈 박사 등이 나와 AI로 달라지는 카카오 T 픽업 경험과 차선단위 내비게이션 기술을 설명하며 이목을 집중 시켰다. 그 외에 카카오모빌리티가 진행하고 있는 ‘실내 내비 서비스’ ‘HD Map 자동화’ ‘정밀지도’ ‘내비 API/SDK’와 관련된 발표가 실무 담당자들에 의해 진행됐다.

The survey was conducted among Americans.

‘챗GPT로 대화하는 기술’은 인공지능 신경망의 작동 원리부터 머신러닝, 딥러닝 등의 개념을 일반인들의 관점에서 쉽게 풀어 낸 책이라 할 수 있다. 책을 집필한 박해선 저자는 ‘전문가들의 전문가’로 일컬어지며 구글 ML GDE(Machine Learning Google Developer Expert)에 이어, 현재는 구글 클라우드 챔피온 이노베이터로 활동하고 있는 인공지능 전문가다. 줄곧 전인공지능 관련 전문 서적들만 출간, 번역해온 그가 ‘인공지능 대중서’를 선보인 이유와 함께 이른바 ‘생성 AI 시대’에 일어날 변화를 직접 만나 들어보았다.

AI is going to change the world, but the problem is that no one really knows how. Some believe that the rapid advances over the past year have unlocked opportunities to remove creative constraints, automate rote tasks, and discover new ways of learning and teaching. Others believe it could disrupt our lives in more harmful ways, such as creating misinformation, destroying or reducing jobs, and posing serious threats to our safety if left unchecked.

According to CNBC on the 15th (local time), Yann LeCun, chief scientist of MetaPlatform AI, said that current AI such as ChatGPT is not smarter than dogs, let alone humans. The Beatles' final, unfinished album will be released via artificial intelligence. Paul McCartney announced in a BBC radio broadcast on Wednesday (local time) that he used artificial intelligence to finalize unfinished songs from a 1980 demo tape and release them this year. "With AI, we were able to extract the clarity of John Lennon's voice and give it a final mix and turn it into a song," McCartney said. This marks the first new Beatles song in 27 years, since 1996. No word yet on what it is, but the BBC says "It is likely to be a song called 'Now And Then', written by John Lennon in 1978."
