China's Alibaba Group has announced that Daniel Zhang will be stepping down from his role as group CEO and chairman to focus on its cloud business, two months after announcing that he would be leaving the company. Mr. Zhang had previously held three roles, leading the group and its cloud intelligence division. The cloud intelligence division is China's largest cloud provider and will be spun off from Alibaba as part of the group's restructuring.
