The largest digital asset topped $28,000 for the first time since June 2022, trading for as much as $28,258 on Sunday. Since the start of the year, Bitcoin’s price has risen almost 70%. Other digital assets rallied as well — with Ethereum up about 17% since the start of last week and so-called altcoins like Solana and Cardano advancing, too

가상 자산 대부 업체인 블록파이가 결국 파산을 신청했다. 블록파이는 고객의 가상 자산을 담보로 돈을 빌려주는 기업으로 최근 파산한 FTX와 밀접한 관계를 맺었던 업체다. 우려했던 대로 세계 3대 가상화폐거래소 FTX의 파산 후폭풍이 이어지고 있는 것이다.

Crypto company Celsius is in the process of filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company’s lawyers were notifying individual U.S. state regulators Wednesday evening, according to a source, who asked not to be named because the proceedings were private. Celsius made headlines a month ago after freezing customer accounts, blaming “extreme market conditions” and joins a list of other high-profile crypto bankruptcies.

State securities regulators in Alabama, Kentucky, New Jersey, Texas and Washington are investigating crypto lender Celsius Network's decision to suspend customer redemptions due to extreme market conditions, pausing withdrawals, swaps and transfers between accounts. The company said that doing so would put it "in a better position to honor, over time, its withdrawal obligations"
