Accenture, a global information technology (IT) consulting firm, has announced a $3 billion investment in AI. "We are investing $3 billion over three years in data and AI to help our clients quickly leverage AI in their businesses," said Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture. The new $3 billion investment follows a series of acquisitions of AI-focused solution providers by Accenture over the past year. The investment will be used to develop AI strategies, AI operating models, AI business cases, and the digital core architecture needed to leverage the technology.
