중국 동영상 공유 플랫폼 ‘틱톡'의 입지가 갈수록 줄어들고 있다. 미국 연방정부와 유럽연합(EU) 집행위원회에 이어 캐나다 연방정부도 중국 동영상 공유 플랫폼인 틱톡 사용을 금지하기로 했다. 캐나다 매체 내셔널 포스트는 현지시간 27일 연방 정부가 공무원들에게 내려보낸 공문을 인용해 28일부터 캐나다 정부에 등록된 모든 기기에서 틱톡 사용이 금지된다고 보도했다.

acebook owner Meta reached out to EU antitrust regulators some time back in an attempt to settle investigations into its use of customer data and the tying of its classified advertisements service to its social network, people with direct knowledge said. There were very preliminary discussions which so far have not made any progress, the people said. The European Commission and Meta declined to comment.
