The FCC is proposing a rule that would put a deadline on how long non-geostationary satellites can stay in space. The rule would require domestic satellite operators and companies that want access to the US market to dispose of their non-functioning satellites as soon as they can. FCC가 고속으로 이동하는 항공기와 선박, 트럭 등 이동 차량을 대상으로 한 스타링크 위성 인터넷 서비스 사용을 승인했다. 스타링크는 전 세계 32개국 약 40만명 이상의 가입자를 확보하고 있다. 이번 이동 서비스 승인을 통해 더 다양한 계층의 사용자를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
