FTX is in talks to buy Bithumb as they are in discussions for several months. Bankman-Fried has been trying to take advantage of the crypto market crash by propping up or acquiring hobbled companies and has committed about $1 billion so far. The companies are also in discussions to raise fresh capital.

FTX is launching stock trading capabilities for its customers through its U.S. division. The company, helmed by billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, says its launch will start in private beta mode for a select group of customers. The full rollout will begin in late 2022, FTX says.
