U.S. electric car maker Tesla is reportedly considering investing in a car factory in Spain to establish a new manufacturing base in Europe. According to Reuters, a Spanish government spokesperson did not provide the exact name of the proposed investment, but the same day, Spanish business daily Cinco Días reported that it was Tesla, citing multiple sources. Tesla is reportedly considering setting up a car factory in the province of Valencia, and the total investment could be as much as 4.5 billion euros (about $6 billion).
