Twitter has been spotted working on making TweetDeck a premium feature. The social media giant is adding the feature to its Twitter Blue subscription service. The feature would only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Spotify Technology SA has reached a deal with Google to offer an alternative payment method within its app for users, the latest sign of the weakening grip that app stores have over third-party software. Microsoft has updated its translation service with new machine learning techniques. The new models can translate between a large number of languages at once. They are based on a technique called the “spare Mixture of Experts” approach. Microsoft says the new models often score between 3% and 15% better than previous models.
