구글, 인공지능 '바드' 전세계 180개국 전면 공개

"Starting today, we're ending the waitlist for Bard," he said at Google's annual developer conference (I/O) at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. Bard, an A.I. chatbot, will be available to the public in 180 countries around the world. Bard is powered by Google's latest large-scale language model (LLM), Palm 2 (PaLM). PaLM 2 is an upgraded version of PaLM 2, which was introduced in April last year, and can perform reasoning and coding tasks in science and math based on 530 billion parameters.

최근 구글이 삼성을 겨냥한 폴더블폰을 당장 오는 10일 발표하고 다음달 출시할 것이라는 보도가 CNBC를 통해서 흘러 나왔다. 지난해 11월부터 구글 픽셀폴드 사진과 렌더링이 줄기차게 나온 가운데 소문 속 픽셀 폴드 등장의 카운트다운만 남았다고 보는 게 자연스럽다. 이는 그동안 구글 안드로이드 동맹의 최대 협력자였던 삼성과 구글간의 관계에도 변화를 가져올 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
