Starting September 26, users will not be able to buy, deposit, offer, or list Polygon NFTs on the marketplace. This may impact the ability to offer new services or adjust existing services within the Binance NFT ecosystem. Binance said users will have until December 31, 2024 to withdraw their NFTs from the Binance NFT Marketplace via the Polygon network. After the removal of Polygon, Binance NFTs will support three blockchains, including BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.

The move comes a day after the agency sued Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, and its founder, CEO Changpeng Zhao. In its complaint, the SEC said Coinbase has made billions of dollars from handling cryptocurrencies since at least 2019, but violated securities laws by avoiding disclosure obligations to protect investors.

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will launch a cryptocurrency trading platform in Japan that is fully compliant with local regulations. According to the company, the new platform will launch this summer, with an official launch date and more details to be revealed in the coming months. Additionally, as part of the transition to Binance Japan, Binance will discontinue cryptocurrency services for Japanese residents through its global platform by November 30, 2023. Users of the global platform will be able to migrate to the new platform after August 1, 2023, but will have to go through a new know-your-customer (KYC) process.
