Taiwan's Foxconn, responsible for more than 90% of global production of iPhones, is under investigation by Chinese authorities. "Chinese authorities are investigating Foxconn on suspicion of tax and land-use violations," Chinese media reported today (Nov. 22). Chinese authorities are scrutinizing Foxconn's factories in the southern province of Guangdong and the eastern province of Jiangsu, and are conducting on-site inspections of the company's land use in Henan and Hubei provinces.

If Apple were to release a cheaper Vision Pro headset, it would likely be a version with fewer external cameras, no EyeSight capabilities, and an iPhone chip instead of the current Mac chip.
