올 가을 나올 아이폰15시리즈 단말기에서는 버튼, 디스플레이, 카메라 등의 업그레이드 상황과 특히 프로 모델의 가격을 주목해 봐야 할 것 같다. 애플이 올해 9월 12일 경 아이폰15 시리즈를 발표하고 22일 경 출시할 것이란 예상이 나온다. 가격(미국기준)은 아이폰15 표준버전이 지난해와 같고 아이폰 프로 버전이 메모리 용량 별로 100달러(약 13만 4000원)씩 오를 것으로 전망됐다.

Apple has finally won its appeal of an antitrust lawsuit filed by Epic Games. In August 2020, Epic Games introduced its own payment system for its game Fortnite to circumvent Apple's policy of charging up to 30% fees for using its payment system. Apple subsequently kicked the company out of the App Store, and Epic Games promptly filed an antitrust lawsuit alleging that Apple violated federal antitrust laws by prohibiting third-party app markets on its operating system (OS). In 2021, a California court upheld a trial court's decision that Apple's App Store business did not violate antitrust laws. The antitrust case ended in a "complete victory" for Apple.

Speculation has surfaced that Apple will unveil a mixed reality (MR) headset it has been working on for years at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Apple showed off its mixed reality headset, the Reality Pro headset, to executives at an internal event at the Stephen Jobs Theater in March. The Reality Pro headset, which is expected to be unveiled in June, will reportedly use both virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and will have a USB-C charging port.

시장조사업체 Canalys와 IDC가 2023년 1분기 전 세계 컴퓨터 출하량이 전년 동기 대비 29~33% 감소한 것으로 집계됐다고 밝혔다. 이는 지난해 연말보다 더 가파른 하락세로 글로벌 PC 업체 전체가 최악의 침체기를 피하지 못했다고 전했다. IDC 보고서에 따르면 올 1분기 완제 PC 출하량은 총 5천690만 대로 지난해 같은 기간 대비 2천330만 대가량 줄었다. 또 2019년 1분기(5천920만 대), 2018년 1분기(6천60만 대) 등 코로나19 범 유행 이전보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났다.
