인도 타타車 1500만원짜리 전기차 내놨다

인도의 자동차 제조사 타타 자동차(Tata Motors)가 1만달러대 소형 전기차를 출시했다. 웬만한 내연기관 경차보다 저렴한 가격의 전기차인 셈이다. 19.2kWh 용량의 배터리를 장착한 기본 옵션 차량 가격은 84만9000루피로 우리 돈으로 약 1500만원에 해당한다.

Hertz·BP, 미국 전기차 충전 네트워크 구축 위해 파트너십 체결

Hertz Global Holdings Inc. is linking up with oil giant BP Plc to build out a network of charging stations. The two companies’ memorandum of understanding aligns Hertz with BP’s goal of operating more than 100,000 chargers by 2030. Hertz plans to electrify a quarter of its rental car fleet by the end of 2024.

헤이딜러가 주요 전기차 모델의 중고차 시세를 최근 18개월 동안 분석한 결과를 26일 발표했다. 최근 18개월 동안 중고 전기차 시세가 최대 28%까지 상승했다. 반면 중고 전기차 중 그랜저는 시세가 약 10% 하락했다.

폭스바겐, 자율주행 혁신 체험 차량 공개

Volkswagen has taken the wraps off its latest concept vehicle. Named GEN.TRAVEL, it is a battery electric “Level 5” autonomous device that the company describes as an Innovation Experience Vehicle. The inelegantly named GEN.TRAVEL will provide a Mobility as a Service experience for up to four pampered passengers. To hear Volkswagen tell it, the concept could be a dandy substitute for short-range air travel or maybe as an alternative to the Nightjet high-speed train service coming to parts of Europe.

PG&E's Elkhorn Battery at Moss Landing, California, caught fire early Tuesday morning. No power outages for customers, and no injuries to on-site personnel. The fire is reminiscent of incidents involving Tesla Megapacks in Australia earlier this year. Residents near the facility were told to shelter in place due to emissions.

Volvo Trucks has begun series production of an all-electric, 44 ton heavy-duty semi truck. The company says that demand for electric semi trucks is increasing rapidly throughout Europe. Volvo believes its expanding electric portfolio could account for 45% of all goods transported in Europe today.
