Microsoft has announced plans to add an AI key to Windows 11 PCs. The key will give users easy access to Microsoft's AI tool, COPILOT. Co-Pilot is an AI tool that can help you search, write emails, create images, and more. Since 2023, Microsoft has been integrating CoPilot into Microsoft 365 products like Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as the Bing search engine. The new AI key is located to the right of the spacebar and has the same effect as pressing the shortcut Windows key+C. Microsoft hopes it will "simplify" and "enhance" the user experience. The new AI keys are expected to be included in new products starting in February. Microsoft is expected to showcase several products with the co-pilot key at the CES tech event.
